Dr. Matthew Kulpit PT, DPT

(PT, DPT, TPI)

Matt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, both earned in 2011 from the University at Buffalo. With a strong background in exercise physiology, he specializes in assisting individuals with various health needs, including cardiovascular risks, movement disorders, and general fitness requirements. Matt’s expertise extends to treating orthopedic injuries of the spine, shoulder, hip, and knee, aiding patients in optimizing their functionality post-surgery.

Passionate about evidence-based practices, Matt actively pursues research interests centered on implementing effective programs to address medical fitness needs. He advocates for lifestyle changes through the utilization of the Medically Oriented Gym (M.O.G), offering support to manage acute and chronic pain, as well as other medical conditions.

He pursued his TPI certification with a focus on understanding how the body affects the golf swing. This certification equips him to tailor plans for golfers by assessing their individual needs. With the motto “If you don’t assess, it’s just a guess,” Matt emphasizes the importance of thorough evaluation to optimize golf performance and prevent injuries.

When Matt’s not at work, he loves spending time with his wife Michelle and their two sons, Jack and Luke, checking out all the local spots in Buffalo. As a die-hard Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan, he is a devoted supporter, embodying the spirit of Buffalo sports culture.
